The deadline for applications to the simplified selection process of the Secretariat of Labor, Employment, Income and Sport of the State of Bahia (Setre) is approaching. The competition aims to meet the temporary and exceptional service needs of the department, through the hiring of personnel for a fixed term, under the Special Administrative Law Regime (Reda).

Simplified selection process at Setre

The notice was published on June 26th in the State Official Gazette (DOE). Twelve positions are offered for the role of Temporary Technical Analyst, in the area of Solidarity Economy Supervision, located within the Superintendency of Solidarity Economy (Sesol).

Job openings and requirements

The job openings are distributed across the cities of Alagoinhas, Guanambi, Irecê, Itaberaba, Itapetinga, Jaguaquara, Juazeiro, Porto Seguro, Santa Luz, Santa Maria da Vitória, Senhor do Bonfim, and Teixeira de Freitas.

To be eligible, among other requirements, it is necessary to have a diploma from a higher education course in any field, duly registered and recognized by the Ministry of Education.

Compensation and benefits

Successful candidates will be hired with a basic salary of R$ 1,480.41, plus a Temporary Function Allowance equivalent to R$ 1,672.87, totaling R$ 3,153.28. Hired employees will also be entitled to a meal voucher worth R$ 12 per working day and optional enrollment in the state's medical assistance program, subject to a monthly contribution. The work schedule is 40 hours per week.

Registration and stages of the selection process.

Applications for the Setre selection process will only be accepted until this Sunday, August 6th, exclusively online, on the Bahia State Government's selection page. There is no application fee. The selection will consist of a single stage: Curriculum Evaluation, in accordance with the terms of the notice, which is both eliminatory and classificatory.

Validity of selection and hiring

The selection process will be valid for one year from the date of publication of its approval. If necessary, this validity may be extended for an equal period, at the discretion of the administration, through an express act of the Secretary of Setre. Selected candidates will be hired for a fixed term of 36 months, with the possibility of renewal for an equal period, only once.

Job responsibilities

The job posting specifies that the responsibilities of the Economics Supervisor position include:

  • Perform technical support activities in projects and actions, maintain administrative processes, monitor the automation of routine processes, prepare reports and opinions, and support control and information systems in various areas of operation;
  • To support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of the execution of solidarity economy, microcredit, and cooperative projects, with the objective of guiding, overseeing, and ensuring the achievement of the proposed goals;
  • Develop/propose action plans, programs, guidelines, and operational procedures; conduct technical visits and other activities related to monitoring; listen to, analyze, systematize, and interpret requests;
  • To offer suggestions for improving services; to conduct thematic workshops on solidarity economy. These activities take place in the capital and the interior.
