Brazilian Federal Highway Police seize 2.9 kg of cocaine on a bus on BR 407.
Illegal material was found in a passenger's suitcase.
On the afternoon of this Thursday (31), the Federal Highway Police carried out a seizure of a large quantity of drugs when inspecting a bus that was approached at km 117 of BR 407, in the municipality of Senhor do Bonfim (BA). During the inspection, two tablets of a substance similar to cocaine hydrochloride, totaling 2.9 kg, were found in the luggage of one of the passengers.
Origin and destination of the drug
The passenger, who was traveling from São Paulo (SP) to Apodi (RN), was arrested in the act of drug trafficking. In addition to the cocaine seizure, the woman was also taken to the Civil Police Station in Senhor do Bonfim (BA) for the application of the appropriate legal procedures.
