Access to the Accessibility Box during the São João festivities in Senhor do Bonfim.

The Municipality of Senhor do Bonfim, through the Department of Social Assistance, is now accepting applications for access to the Accessibility Box during the São João festivities. The goal is to provide an inclusive and accessible experience for people with physical disabilities, such as wheelchair users, and those with mobility issues.

How to register

Registration will be done in person at the Social Assistance Secretariat, located at Rua Barão do Cotegipe, Nº 158, Centro, Senhor do Bonfim. The registration period is from May 17th to June 16th, from 8 am to 5 pm.

The Accessibility Box offers a suitable structure to guarantee the best experience for participants. The location is strategically positioned, with privileged visibility of the stage and attractions. There are also access ramps, handrails, and an adapted bathroom, facilitating movement and ensuring the comfort of users.

Registration criteria

To register, you must meet the following criteria:

a) Having a physical disability (wheelchair user) or reduced mobility;

b) Submit supporting documentation (with ICD code) or disability card;

c) Present proof of residence;

d) Minors under the age of eighteen may only participate with the presence of a guardian, who must present a photo ID;

(e) Each person with a disability will be entitled to bring a companion, who must also be registered at the time of registration;

f) Registration can be done by anyone, provided they bring the required documentation at the time of registration;

g) Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and a registration number will be generated with the date and time of registration;

h) Each registrant may choose up to two dates to access the VIP box, subject to availability.

It is important to note that companions will only be allowed into the VIP area if they are accompanying the registered person with a disability.
