Project in support of informal workers during the June festivities.
The municipal administration, titled "Taking good care is good," recognizes the municipality of Senhor do Bonfim as the "Bahian Capital of Forró" and understands that during the June festivities the city receives many tourists, which favors the growth of local commerce and benefits informal workers.
Considering the families facing various social vulnerabilities and seeking to ensure their families' livelihood, the Social Assistance Secretariat created this project. Many informal workers lacked options for where or with whom to leave their children during this period, which motivated the Social Assistance Secretariat to embrace this initiative.
According to the Secretary of Social Assistance, Taciane Granja, the project aims to support families experiencing various social vulnerabilities and seeking to ensure the best possible family livelihood.
With this, the Municipality of Senhor do Bonfim reinforces its commitment to taking good care of the population, seeking the well-being of all.
