Salaries for this position in federal institutes range from R$2,437.59 to R$6,356.02, depending on the workload and academic background of the employee. In addition, employees are entitled to a food allowance of R$658.00 and a preschool allowance of R$321.00.

For the selection process at IFBA in Salvador, the areas of work are: industrial electrical automation/installations, industrial electronics, mechanical engineering, general electrotechnics, electrical measurements, electrical power transmission and substations, as well as the food and beverage sector. The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, and selection will be based on a review of qualifications and a teaching performance test.

For the IF Baiano campus in Senhor do Bonfim, the position is in the area of surveying and geoprocessing/digital cartography. Applicants must have a degree in geography or agronomy with postgraduate studies in geotechnologies, surveying engineering, and/or cartography/geoprocessing technology. The workload is 20 hours per week, and selection will be based on a teaching performance test and curriculum analysis.

At IF Baiano in Xique-Xique, the vacancy is for a substitute physics professor, with a 40-hour work week. Selection will be based on a teaching performance test and analysis of qualifications.
