The S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o festival in Senhor do Bonfim, Bahia, is considered one of the biggest June festivals in the state. With a program full of renowned national artists, the event promises lots of fun and excitement for visitors. In addition to the shows, the city also offers other cultural activities, such as quadrille dance competitions and the presence of the famous Forr\u00f3 Train.<\/p>\n
Located in the north-central region of the state, Senhor do Bonfim transforms into the Bahian Capital of Forr\u00f3 during the five-day festival, which will take place from June 21st to 25th. The municipality is one of the biggest investors in artistic attractions, allocating approximately R$ 3.2 million in artist fees. Highlights of the program include Jo\u00e3o Gomes, Maiara and Mara\u00edsa, Bruno and Marrone, Z\u00e9 Vaqueiro, Fl\u00e1vio Jos\u00e9, Alcymar Monteiro, Adelm\u00e1rio Coelho, and Nadson \u201cO Ferinha\u201d.<\/p>\n
The shows at the Gonzag\u00e3o Circuit are scheduled to begin at 9 PM on the first nights and at 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday, extending into the early morning. In addition to the main circuit, the city government is also promoting shows at the Assis do Forr\u00f3 Circuit, in Pra\u00e7a Nova do Congresso, which will have attractions starting in the mid-afternoon.<\/p>\n
One of the most popular attractions for tourists is the Forr\u00f3 Train, which will be in the city on the 23rd and 24th. The train departs from the train station and provides a unique experience for visitors, with lots of music and entertainment on board.<\/p>\n
Senhor do Bonfim is a municipality with approximately 80,000 inhabitants, located 385 kilometers from Salvador and 125 kilometers from Juazeiro. In addition to its June festivities, the city boasts beautiful natural landscapes and unique cultural expressions, making it an increasingly popular tourist destination.<\/p>\n
