The objective of the event was to strengthen cultural roots and traditions, as well as promote the diversity of popular expressions during the S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o festivities.<\/p>\n<p>The competition took place at the Jo\u00e3o Correia Sports Center and attracted a large audience. The gymnasium was packed with people eager to witness the fierce competition for the title of best quadrilha junina (traditional square dance group) of S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o 2023, which had the theme &quot;All the Poetry and Tradition in the Biggest and Best S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o&quot;.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bonfimnoticias.com.br\/wp_cf5e68-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Prefeitura-de-Senhor-do-Bonfim-promove-o-2o-Concurso-de-1.jpeg\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" alt=\"Foto do concurso de Quadrilhas Juninas em Senhor do Bonfim\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Dawn had already arrived when the last group took to the stage and enchanted everyone with their performance. The participating groups displayed great enthusiasm, beautifully decorated costumes, and an explosion of colors, marking the competition.<\/p>\n<p>In the Traditional Quadrille category, the 1st place winner received R$2,000.00 + trophy, the 2nd place winner received R$1,500.00 + trophy, and the 3rd place winner received R$100.00 + trophy. In the Stylized Quadrille category, the top three winners received trophies.
